Welcome to the Cub page!
You’re perhaps not sure about what Cubs do, so here’s some of what we get up to
(although there’s lots more):
- We learn new skills
- Do badgework
- Go camping (indoors, and outdoors under canvas)
- Make things (tasty items and craft ones too)
- Have visits from the Fire and the Police Services
- Go on visits ourselves
- Make new friends and learn to work in teams
What’s not to like about that?
Are you interested in coming along? If so, here’s some information which will help:
- Cubs are for young people aged 8 to 10½
- We meet on Tuesday nights from 7.00 pm to 8.30 pm in Trinity Church halls
- Sometimes we meet outside the halls, but you’ll always be advised of that.

August to December 2025
Here’s a flavour of some of what we did this session:
- Going Up Ceremony
- Camp at Blair Drummond Safari Park – this was right at the start of the session and it was brilliant. Some of the Cubs who moved to the Scouts the week before joined us and enjoyed their last Cub camp, now looking forward to Scout camps.
- Teamwork challenges
- World Badge and Investitures for new Cubs
- Disability Awareness (to tie in with International Sign Language Day)
- Communicator Badge (as part of International Translation Day)
- Fire Safety – we’re tying this in with Guy Fawkes’ Night
- St Andrew’s Night
- Christmas Craft Night
