Beavers
Here’s some information about our eager Beavers:
- We’re for young people aged 6 to 8
- We meet on Friday nights from 6.30 p.m. to 7.45 p.m. in Trinity Church halls, Paisley Road, Renfrew
- Here are some links to useful information about us:
September to December 2025 – we have lots going on:
- Building night – looking at some different ways of building, and trying to do it ourselves
- Movie night – builders need a night off after all their hard work!
- Animal Badge
- Making bird feeders – this is the 2nd part of our animal badge
- Science night – every young person has a science question, so we think it’s good to look at science from a young age
- Hallowe’en crafts
- Hallowe’en party
- Bonfire night – we’re linking this in to camp craft
- Camp Crafts
- St Andrew’s Day – this will be a favourite as it includes making something tasty – shortbread and armpit fudge. Armpit fudge – tasty? Yes it is – we love it!
- We finish the year off with our Christmas craft night and then our Christmas party.
FUN is a big part of what we do, so in addition to having fun, learning, building, crafting and cooking, we have games and other fun events. What’s not to like about all that?
Here’s some of what we did from January to June 2025:
- Learn new skills
- Badgework
- Crafts
- Baking/cookery
- Visits
- Games
We’re always pleased to see new Beavers, so you’re welcome to come along to the halls as noted above, but perhaps contact us first using the contact page (click here for quick access), to make sure we won’t be out the halls the night you decide to visit.
