Many thanks to all who supported our Scout Post. Over the three nights we received over 900 cards, all of which were delivered by Leaders and Explorers, who covered a fair number of miles on a few wet and cold nights! It was all worth it, as we’re delighted that the fruit our our labours allowed us to raise £230.00.
We decided to give all the funds to charity, so what we raised was split equally between the Glasgow City Mission (which helps the homeless) and Glasgow Spirit of Christmas (which provides year round hardship support to children in Glasgow, Renfrewshire and the surrounding areas).

Introducing – Scout Post – Christmas 2020
The Group is pleased to announce that we are introducing a Scout Christmas Postal service this year as a community engagement project, for which volunteers from the Group will deliver cards to Renfrew and Inchinnan (PA4 postcodes only) with proceeds being split between the Group and a local charity.
We will be operating an honesty box for dropping off cards for delivery, with the suggested donation for each card being 25p.
If you’d like to have your cards delivered, they can be dropped off at our dedicated post boxes at the Scout hall (Fauldshead Road entrance) on the days and times shown below:
- Monday Night – Cubs running times
- Friday Night – Cubs and Scout running times
- Saturday 9 – 11am
The last drop off date will be Friday 18th December, which will allow time for sorting and deliveries on Saturday 19th December.
